“Strength comes in numbers”, an expression meaning an emotional and morale strength drawn from a group of people, has evolved to become “Results come in numbers” for those who desire to lose weight and reach a healthy body composition. More and more studies are finding that structured group nutrition coaching and programming over self-help is more effective in achieving weight loss goals. In a study published in JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association), group nutrition coaching participants lost over three times more weight than those in the self-help group.
