I appreciate the whole experience to furthering my education in the fitness industry. I feel taking the test at home with open book has helped me to retain the knowledge important to personal training. I do encourage attending the group workshop for the personal one on one training and practical tesing. That is very helpful. I would conintue to gain certs through fitour along with other associations. Thank-You fitour.

This was a good way to renew

This was a good way to renew my certification, but I got 2 wrong and I would like to know which two were incorrect.
A great Certification Course
Posted October 17, 2016 by Overall Review
I really loved learning the things I always wondered, relearning what I knew and seeing it in action as I am a Kinesthetic and Visual learner. The only thing I would suggest for this is maybe newer instructors. It seemed somewhat out of date, if I may say it that way.
The ladies were very knowledgeable, but showing 12 reps of each exercise on the core manual, and having a lot of fluff on the Group Exercise manual, made the task maybe a bit more tedious than need be. Overall, a great course!
nice course

It was decent. I am already a certified personal trainer & run small group bootcamps & HIIT classes so this was more for CEU's. It was easy language & had a nice lay out to the book & exam.
Grateful for this process and renewal opportunity

The exam and the study material were good reviews and were designed to promote understanding and success.
A good review of skills
Posted May 23, 2016 by jjblw
It was good to go back over the skills and information in relation to the Group exercise certification. There are some activities and information that one knows but can't recall the principle or application needed for use with the client. Using the facts and language appropriate to the teaching of skills is necessary for understanding. This test made me review and recall facts and information I forgot, or didn't use. Good resource.

Step Certification
Excellent Opportunity

I was so excited when a friend shared with me the FiTour program. She told me that it was an inexpensive but excellent resource for entry into the fitness industry. I have been very interested in health, wellness and high-quality life for approximately 15-20 years but recently became even more focused. So, I went to the FiTour's website and reviewed all aspects before making the final decision to begin the certification process. My experience during the website review confirmed it was the right way to go; subsequently, I ordered the materials. As soon as I received the materials, I began the study process and reviewed the instructional DVD. Overall, the affordability, quality, and program recognition is what convinced me that this was the program for me. I am now on my way to becoming a fitness instructor and this can be a direct result of FiTour. Again, thanks for offering an affordable and nationally recognized program with an in-home option certification!
Core & Functional Fitness Certification
High Quality but very low cost!

This course was designed with detail in mind and is offered at a great value including study material.
The course was more indepth than what I expected for an online course! Even as a nurse I learned a lot, and did it in my own time. Now I will start the next one! Thank you!

This pilates course provides very detailed information and is a fraction of the cost of the others.
Great Format
Posted April 21, 2009 by Lisa from New Orleans, LA
I enjoyed taking the exam online after the workshop, because there isn't so much pressure during the actual learning process. So you can relax and learn the info without stressing about taking a test at the end of the day.

Aqua Certification Primary
question 52 and results of exam
Posted November 4, 2016 by Student CN
Hi, I just finished taking the primary aqua certification test and wanted to let you know that question 52 does not include an answer that is in keeping with the study material. according to the study material a pulse should be taken for 6 seconds in an aqua setting. However, 6 seconds was not an option. Also, I would like to review questions that I got wrong in order to study those areas of the material more closely to be better prepared as an instructor. Thank you, CN
Test answers available after testing complete
Posted October 14, 2016 by jw - RB, CA
It would be nice to see the test questions and answer after completion. It's nice to learn where you made mistakes. I understand how come you might not want to show them if a person didn't pass but if they passed why not show them any questions they missed?
Exam

Please review question 49 because it has two right answers to choose from, and A and C is the wrong answer.
I have my name in lower case letters on the certificate. Can I change this?
Group and Aqua
Posted July 22, 2016 by ChaCha from PA
There was one question about counting pulse via coratid artery that had the least amount as 10 seconds in the test, instead of what the book indicates which is 6 seconds.
Other than that it was straight forward with good multiple choice options!
