The Personal Training Certification was packed with great knowledge and i recommend it if you are on a budget. The only reason i gave it 4 stars was because of the quality of the videos, they look a little outdated and the certificate they provide is not in PDF format and doesn't look that great either. Other than that it was easy to get through the course and the teacher within the course was pretty awesome too. I am grateful for the education, that is what matters the most to me.

Personal Training Certification PRIMARY
Great Personal Trainer Course!

Covers all material, but easy
Posted October 29, 2017 by Cathy
I love the price and the content material. However, the test is very simplistic. I am not complaining, it is refreshing to have basic information reviewed and tested, but for a more competitive program the exam should be a bit more challenging.

Renewing certifications

I would like to go over the questions to see the ones I got wrong.
QUICK AND EASY
Posted December 23, 2017 by Dan B from Brunswick, GA
The course (and re-cert) are straight forward and explain concepts well.
My only complaint is that you cannot review your exam after taking it, so you don't know which question you marked incorrectly.
Group Exercise Instructor
Posted November 20, 2017 by Kris the Certified Personal Training and Star-2 Spinning Instructor
Excellent "quick" certification loaded with straight-forward facts about Sports and Exercise Science that we need to teach. The test doesn't try to trick you. It applies working knowledge of myology, cueing, Newton's Law of Physics, nutrition, motivation, resistance training and new modalities with practical application. How do you create adherence while helping students improve their fitness and health? Be knowledgeable, professional and make exercise fun. Only suggestion: A link to the 32-count music on the Fitour site would be helpful.
Question Regarding Special Population - Pregnancy
Posted October 22, 2017 by Julienne
Overall course thorough. 1 Question regarding pregnancy - there was no mention of not lying supine after certain trimester, side-lie on a certain side only...this was in my prior certification. Have guidelines been revised? 1 comment - I would like to know which questions I got wrong so that this can be a further learning process for me.. Thank You
Good!

Review was concise and to the point.
I thoroughly enjoyed the review and finished all in less than an hour.

I've been an instructor for 4 years now and Fitour gave me the opportunity to expand my fitness goals. I now have an online fitness business and I love it. I am able to revamp various workouts and send them across the world to those who can't get to the gym. The program can be done in your home, at a park or in a gym. I want to thank Fitour once again for their knowledge and resources to better myself to becoming a better fitness instructor.
Easy to follow and understand. Online presentation along with book was helpful for my comprehension.
Posted March 11, 2017 by Gail Pipes from Land O' Lakes, FL
I was concerned when the very first word of the very first page of the book was a typographical error: "formally" known as aerobic dance, rather than "formerly" (repeated again in the book along with a few other typos - I'm OCD can't help it!), however, I was pleasantly surprised by the information provided in the book and the variety of subjects covered. I appreciate the low cost of the certification, and I'm already preparing for my next course. Thanks.
Myofascial Release Foam Roller Certification Primary
This program is a "Must Have" for trainers!
Posted February 10, 2018 by Loni Alwin, Personal Trainer
Wow! So much more than I realized encompassed this program! Not only the details about foam rolling but also adding the extra mind/body connections which can be used to develop additional programming at our club. My own coaching will be further enhanced with the attention to postural alignments. A Lot to study, but worth it!
Can I find out which questions I scored wrong on???
Myofascial Release Foam Rolling, great course

Great Course. Very detailed and explanatory. Loved the book and review questions as well as videos. The book, questions and video's worked hand-in-hand for an excellent learning experience.

Yoga Certification Primary
Excellent
Posted January 21, 2018 by Suzi - The Yoga Room
Fitour certifications are great for those that have been in the field for years and have had experience. First time instructors do need to be assessed or monitored by club or gym manager to get their foot in the door. And one-on- one certifications are very helpful, as you give demonstrations, which aids in teaching in any field.
Very Informational but the printed certificate did not have my name

Indoor Cycling Certification Primary
Quick and Easy
Posted December 23, 2017 by Dan B from Brunswick, GA
Good training material for the initial certification. The renewal study guide is just an excerp of the original guide.
The down side is, there is no way to know which question you got wrong. Just a grade. How do we ensure we are teaching the corect information if
we don't know where we made a mistake?
Very Helpful Course
Posted February 8, 2017 by MO from Alabama
This course was a very helpful and inexpensive way to get into teaching indoor cycling. The videos were very helpful as well as the notes. I did find a few spelling errors in the test itself. I learned a lot and now I am ready to apply what I have learned by actually starting to teach indoor cycling.

Posted December 9, 2017 by N. Chinn from Virginia
I like having the detailed descriptions of the poses. The new information on meditation and breathing techniques were also helpful. I wonder if you could update the video - it is now 13 years old. And if you are going to make a new video the background/set could be more professionally done.

I enjoyed the course; however, Shotokan is not the founder of karate. Shotokan is a style of karate that was founded by Ginchin Funakoshi. He is considered the founder of Modern Karate.

Except for a couple of trickier questions, short and to the point renewal questions. Twenty-Five was the perfect number for renewal.

This is a good comprehensive course.

The exam was very challenging, but it did reinforce what was taught in the online class.

Thanks. I am however, having a problem order a certificate of completion.
Great Materials/Training Program - issue with exam question
Posted January 2, 2017 by Lynn
I enjoyed both written manual and the videos although both seemed a little dated. It was a great review. I think there are some misprints on the exam questions. Specifically regarding amount of time to take pulse during water class. Materials stated 6 seconds, and that option was not given on the exam. The last question regarding giving instructions for participant to see his/her physician had a response that was nebulously worded.

question 92
Posted January 11, 2016 by question 92 on exam
overall the test was easy after studying the manual and watching the videos. There is one question that had multiple answers: Q 92 could have either been Speed or Agility. I am not sure if i got this one wrong but hopefully did not.

When the instructor receives a question or an answer from the participants, then the instructor should repeat the question or the answer so the online audience knows what was said too. Otherwise a good class.
