| This FiTOUR® certification
course is designed to teach you a fun and easy-to-follow
approach to Yoga, utilizing the Resist-A-Ball. It incorporates
all the disciplines and teachings of yoga into a simple,
yet challenging format. YogaBall is a balance of strength,
flexibility, mental training, and overall body conditioning.
It strengthens many of those un-seen muscles known as
stabilizers, as well as maintains the integrity of the
mind and body connections.
Course Objectives
- The student will be able to visually see and physically
perform the 24 Yoga poses that are taught in this
course.
- The student will be able to list the four different
styles of Yoga that are performed in this class, which
are Iyenger yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, and
Kundalini Yoga.
- The student will design a Yoga program that will
not only fit their styles, but the styles of the students
they will be working with.
- The student will be able to list the benefits of
the YogaBall program, which are increased energy,
decreased body weight, improved muscle tone, Improved
Flexibility, Reduced Stress, and enhanced mental dexterity.
- The student will be able to design a group exercise
and personal training program. They will be able to
decipher between the three programs each has to offer.
