Fitness is a lifestyle choice for Donna – a lifelong journey, not a destination.  With her energy and passion for life, Donna has “energized” many people through fitness activities since 1985. Donna has certifications from ACE; AFAA, ACSM, as well as the YMCA, Yogafit, Nedita and other fitness organizations. Her certifications include Group Fitness, Personal Training, Step and Yoga as well as certificates in Children’s fitness, Medicine Ball, Stability ball and others. She likes teaching, helping others and seeing the benefits fitness provides.   She also holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University. 

One of the most fun and interesting fitness instructing experiences was teaching aerobics in the off season to the Indianapolis Colts football team. She helped initiate a fitness program for The Warren Township Fire Department recruiting classes. Donna feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Disney in choreographing the opening ceremonies of the Pan AM Games in Indianapolis, coordinating 200 aerobic participants. She participated as one of the sponsoring companies for the Men’s PGA Senior’s Tour Golf tournament when it was held in Indianapolis, and other city-wide events.

As an entrepreneur involved in promoting Corporate fitness, Donna chaired the National Employee Health and Fitness Day walk several years. Donna produced and performed a regularly featured fitness segment for the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis; a five to ten minute segment on many aspects of fitness. “Doing live television, you have to get it right the first time! You must be ready for whatever the channel says they need that day, even if it is not planned; it was a fun and rewarding experience!” She has written fitness columns for business publications and delivered fitness presentations to corporations and other large groups/conventions.

She also works as a Marketing and Business Consultant specializing in marketing, strategic planning, promotions and public relations, in addition to teaching fitness classes and a business class for the IUPUI Kelley School of Business.   Donna likes to travel, dance, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
