About the FiTOUR® Renewal Program

FiTOUR® is dedicated to providing fitness professionals with high quality, convenient fitness education. FiTOUR® has designed a certification renewal program that is unlike any other in the fitness industry—it provides you with complimentary continuing education to increase your fitness knowledge while at the same time saving you valuable money.

FiTOUR® Certification Renewal Cost

The FiTOUR® renewal fee is only $25 for any FiTOUR® certification and includes a Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program course. That means that only $25 every two years is all it costs to renew your FiTOUR® certification. Included in that $25 fee is complimentary continuing education to expand your knowledge of the fitness industry. FiTOUR® requires no costly Continuing Education Credits from other organizations for renewal of your FiTOUR® certification saving you time and keeping the cost of renewing affordable. Your FiTOUR® certification is valid/current for two (2) years from the date of issue on the certification certificate. Upon renewal, your FiTOUR® certification is valid for 2 more years from the expiration date.

About the Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program
The Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program enables you to expand your fitness education and renew your FiTOUR® certification easily and affordably. The Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program offers a wide range of cutting edge fitness education courses to choose from, followed by a 25-question exam based on your course material. A Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program course must be taken to renew your FiTOUR® certification.

Exclusivity of FiTOUR® Complimentary Continuing Education Course
All Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program courses can be used only to renew FiTOUR® certifications. Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program courses cannot be used to renew certifications with other organizations. Once you renew your FiTOUR® certification, you receive a FiTOUR® Certification certificate with your new expiration date. Your completion of the Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program course will be recorded in your FiTOUR® account. Administratively, a continuing education certificate is not needed to renew your FiTOUR® certification, thus no CEC certificate will be mailed.

How to Renew Your Certification
To renew, simply login to the Exam Center at www.fitour.com within 90 days of the expiration date (and up to 6 months after the expiration date) and complete the Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Credit of your choice. Upon successful completion of the complimentary CEC of your choice, an updated certification certificate will be printed and delivered within 7-10 business days. Please note, you will receive e-mail reminders regarding renewing your FiTOUR® certifications 90 days prior to the expiration date of your certification.

Time Frame Policies for FiTOUR® Certification Renewal
Each FiTOUR® Certification is valid for two years from the date issued and can be renewed anytime within the 90-day time frame prior of the expiration date. The renewal fee is ONLY $25 for each FiTOUR® certification—this renewal fee includes your complimentary CEC and the associated exam. Please note the Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Program Course must be taken within six months of the certification expiration date.

Minimum CEC Exam Score Requirements
If the minimum score (75%) is not achieved on the Continuing Education Credit examination, a retest is available. You may retest as many times as necessary. The fee for each renewal examination retest is $25.

FiTOUR® Renewal Cost Post-Expiration
If you fail to renew a FiTOUR® certification within six months after the date of expiration, you will need to recertify. In this case, the cost of the certification renewal will be $65. You can retake the certification exam by purchasing the certification exam only for $65 at www.fitour.com/save. If a minimum score of 75% is not achieved on the examination, a retest is available. You may retest as many times as necessary. The fee for each certification retest examination is $25.

How to Renew Your FiTOUR® Certification
1. Login to the Exam Center within 90 days prior to the certification expiration date and up to 6 months after renewal date. Certifications will not be eligible for renewal until 90 days prior to the expiration date. You may check the expiration date(s) of your certification(s) by logging into your account.
2. Pay the $25 renewal fee via our secure online processing system.
3. Choose a Complimentary FiTOUR® Continuing Education Credit Course and review the content.
4. Complete and pass (75% or higher) the exam associated with your course.
5. Receive an updated certification certificate with a new expiration date two years from date of renewal.
